Meet the baker
behind the sweetness.
Hi, I’m Crystal.
My baking story started with a boxed cake mix and a simple thought: I wanted to learn how to make it myself. I knew the flavors and textures I enjoyed, and that curiosity led me to baking from scratch, trying new things, and discovering how much I loved the process.
During lockdown, baking became more than a way to stay busy. It gave me a way to connect with people and bring a little comfort during an uncertain time. What began as something I enjoyed doing for myself became something I could share with others.
One of my proudest moments was making my first two-tier birthday cake from scratch and decorating it myself. There was something special about seeing it all come together—something I had made with my own hands.
That feeling is still what I love about baking. From mixing the ingredients to adding the final details, I care about how a cake tastes, how it looks, and how closely it reflects the celebration it’s made for.
When you work with me, we start with your ideas. I’ll listen, be honest about what I can create, and talk through the details with you before we begin. I want you to feel heard and know that your cake is getting my care and attention.

How far in advance should I place an order?
Please order at least 1 week ahead, and 2 weeks ahead if you can. Every order is made from scratch around the calendar, so earlier requests have the best chance of getting your date.
How does custom pricing work?
Each order is priced on its own, based on things like the number of servings, the design, flavors and any treats you add. Once Crystal knows what you have in mind, she’ll talk you through the options and the price.
Can I send inspiration photos?
Yes, please. Screenshots, saved posts, invitations, color swatches, a photo of the party decorations: anything that helps explain the idea. You can attach up to 3 images to your request.
Do you recreate cakes exactly?
Inspiration photos are a starting point. Your cake is made by hand and designed around your celebration, so it’s inspired by the photo rather than a copy of someone else’s cake.
What information should I include in my inquiry?
Your event date, the occasion, roughly how many people you’re serving, your colors or theme, any flavors you love, and anything you already have in mind. A budget range helps too, and so do pictures.
Where is pickup?
Pickup is in Weslaco, Texas. The details are arranged when your order is confirmed.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, delivery is available. Include where your event is in your request, and the delivery details are worked out with your order.
